# Improvements and Foundational GEO

> Turn GEO gaps into prioritized work and strengthen the public evidence that AI systems can learn from.

**Improvements** converts GEO evidence into actions you can take now. **Foundational** focuses on the slower public-data layer that can influence future models.

## Improvements

Recommendations may include:

* Creating content for an uncovered prompt or fanout
* Strengthening a page that nearly earns citations
* Adding an FAQ, comparison, definition, or evidence block
* Improving structured data and page extractability
* Building third-party evidence or correcting inconsistent facts

Each recommendation should explain the affected prompt or evidence, expected impact, and suggested destination—such as Quill, an SEO tool, or Tasks.

### Work an improvement

1. Confirm that the underlying prompt matters to the business.
2. Read the cited and competing sources.
3. Open the recommended tool or send the item to Tasks.
4. Make one coherent improvement instead of scattering thin changes across many pages.
5. Allow scheduled runs to collect enough evidence before judging the result.

## Foundational GEO

Foundational GEO helps you strengthen facts and surfaces that may enter public datasets used to train future models. It can include:

* A canonical company fact sheet
* Training-crawler access and observed visits
* Discoverability and server-rendering checks
* Consistency across your site and public knowledge sources
* Presence on evidence-backed public surfaces
* Public archive and dataset signals
* Ranked actions with evidence strength and expected time horizon
