# Leads

> Identify company visits, prioritize intent, research prospects, and coordinate outreach.

**Leads** helps teams move from anonymous website activity and public buying signals to qualified outreach. Visitor identification and outreach capabilities depend on the site's plan and setup.

## Leads tabs

| Tab           | What it does                                                                                              |
| ------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Overview** | Shows identified companies, visits, pages, recency, and selected time ranges—including the last 24 hours. |
| **Outreach** | Organizes leads that are ready for follow-up. |
| **Prospects** | Supports LinkedIn-oriented people and account research. |
| **Intent** | Finds public posts from people expressing needs related to what the site sells. |

## Set up visitor identification

Follow the setup guide in Leads to add the tracking code to the site. After verification, allow time for new eligible visits to arrive; historical visitors cannot always be reconstructed.

## Connect outreach tools

* Connect **HubSpot** or **Zoho CRM** to sync suitable leads and contacts.
* Each teammate can connect their own **Gmail** or **Outlook** mailbox.
* Review the sender, recipient, and message before sending outreach.

<Warning>
  Visitor identification is probabilistic and is generally strongest for company-level traffic. Treat a match as a research lead, not as guaranteed identity. Follow applicable privacy, consent, and outreach rules in every market you operate in.
</Warning>

## Qualify before outreach

Look for a combination of signals:

* Multiple relevant page views
* Recent or repeated visits
* High-intent pages such as pricing, comparison, or service details
* A company that fits the intended market
* A public buying signal that matches the offering

Do not send a generic message merely because a company appeared in the feed. Use Cleo's context to write a relevant, respectful reason for contacting them.
