This guide takes you from signing up to running your first analysis.

1. Sign in

  1. Open the Cleo app in your browser.
  2. Click Sign in and authenticate. Cleo uses secure single sign-on, so you will see a hosted login screen.
  3. After signing in, you land on the Home dashboard.
If you do not have an account yet, ask your workspace admin to invite you, or contact the Cleo team at contact@regencleo.ai.

2. Your sites

Sites (projects) are provisioned when you purchase a plan. The site or sites you signed up for are already available in your workspace — you do not create them yourself inside the app. If you need to:
  • Add a new site to an existing plan,
  • Change which site is being tracked,
  • Move from one domain to another,
purchase the appropriate plan from the Cleo website, or contact the Cleo team at contact@regencleo.ai. Once provisioned, the site appears in your sidebar and you can select it as the active project.

3. Run your first analysis

The fastest way to see Cleo working is to run a website audit:
  1. Open the site workspace and choose SEO → Audit.
  2. Confirm the URL.
  3. Click Run Audit.
  4. Wait for results — progress streams in real time.
  5. Review the audit report. Critical, warning, and informational findings are listed with suggested fixes.
You can do the same for individual checks: meta tags, broken links, schema, mobile usability, and so on. See SEO tools for the full catalogue.

4. (Optional) Connect WordPress or Wix

Connecting a CMS lets Cleo apply some fixes directly instead of giving you instructions to copy.
  • WordPress — open Resources → Integrations → WordPress, enter the requested connection details, and save. An application password is recommended. See WordPress and Wix.
  • Wix — open the Wix integration card and follow the connection flow for your site.
You can still use almost every tool without these credentials — they just produce recommendations instead of one-click fixes.

5. Set up GEO tracking (one-time onboarding)

If your plan includes GEO, the first time you open the GEO tab for a site you’ll see a short onboarding flow:
  1. Industry — confirm your industry and business description.
  2. Queries — Cleo analyses your site and proposes tracked queries; review, edit, add, or remove them.
After onboarding, tracked prompts run on a schedule and results populate Score, Citations, AI Sentiment, Competitors, Analytics, and Improvements. You can add, edit, or remove prompts from GEO → Prompts, subject to the active site’s limits. See GEO intelligence for full details.

6. Invite your team

  1. Open your workspace member list.
  2. Click Invite Member, enter their email, and pick a global role (Admin or Member).
  3. After they join, assign them per-project roles (Owner, Editor, Viewer) on the projects they should access.
See Workspaces, sites, and your team.
